Anderson Township, located in the southeastern corner of Hamilton County, Ohio, is one of the most heavily populated townships in the State of Ohio and has the fourth highest population total of Hamilton County’s 49 political jurisdictions. Bounded by the Little Miami and Ohio Rivers, the community is dominated by rolling, wooded topography that creates scenic vistas of the beautiful natural environment in which the Township is located.
Anderson is known for its close vicinity to the Ohio River and it's a quick ride to Hyde Park, downtown, or Lunken Airport. Some well known favorites to visit are Coney Island, Belterra Park, and Riverbend Music Center. Restaurants that are unique to the Anderson area are The El Coyote, Salem Gardens, Pelican's Reef, Grove Park Grille, and Anderson Township Pub. It is located in Foresthills School District, and there are Catholic Schools every other mile. There are places for senior living like the New England Club and the Anthology of Anderson. If you like golf there are both public and private courses. The Vineyard, The Little Miami Golf Center, and California Golf Course are some the beautiful public courses that are available to all. Then the private social and golfing clubs include Ivy Hills and Coldstream Country Club. There are many public parks like Woodland Mound Park, Beech Acres Park, and Withrow Nature Preserve. Being a dog lover I can't forget about the Dog Parks that are available, too! These include Kellogg Park Dog Field, Otto Armleder Dog Park, and Wags Park.
